Pilot Light - Rookwood Pottery Dinner

I was hired by Margaret Events to photograph their event for Pilot Light Chef's Paul Kahan,( Awarded Outstanding Chef by the James Beard Foundation in 2013 and Best Chef of the Midwest in 2004),  Jason Hammel (chef and owner of Lula Café in Chicago) and Matthias Merges (FOLK ART Management ) with the help of Carolina Catering's impeccable serving staff.Pilot Light is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that helps children make healthier choices by connecting the lessons they learn in their classrooms to the foods they eat on their lunch trays, at home and in their communities. They have recently joined with Rookwood Pottery who has graciously offered to help raise funds for the program through the sale of beautiful handmade tableware. The pottery seen featured here are prototypes of the pieces that will be handmade and sold in support of Pilot Light.
